The Tax Analyst supports tax compliance and reporting functions, including sales tax, property tax, IRS information reporting, and unclaimed property filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, file, and oversee compliance of state and local sales and property tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
Ensure accuracy and adherence to diverse tax regulations
Manage the annual IRS information reporting process (Form 1099 series)
Coordinate timely submissions of tax reports and address discrepancies
Handle unclaimed property escheatment filings
Assist in other ad-hoc tax projects as needed
Requirements
Supporting the VP of Tax in managing sales tax, property tax, IRS information reporting, and unclaimed property reporting functions.
Preparing, filing, and overseeing compliance of state and local sales and property tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
Ensuring the accuracy and adherence to diverse tax regulations in all tax filings.
Managing the annual IRS information reporting process, specifically Form 1099 series, including coordinating timely submissions and addressing any discrepancies.
Handling unclaimed property escheatment filings.
Assisting in other ad-hoc tax projects as needed.
