Job Description
The Staff DevOps Engineer, Data is responsible for applying DevOps principles to data platforms, ensuring automation, observability, and reliability at scale, while collaborating with data engineering, analytics, and infrastructure teams to optimize data delivery and resolve complex data reliability challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply DevOps principles to data platforms to ensure automation, observability, and reliability at scale
- Partner with data engineering, analytics, and infrastructure teams to enable secure and performant data delivery
- Set strategy for DataOps and design platform-wide automation and observability patterns
- Unblock teams on complex data reliability challenges
Requirements
- Apply DevOps principles to data platforms, ensuring that pipelines and systems are automated, observable, and reliable at scale.
- Partner closely with data engineering, analytics, and infrastructure teams to enable consistent, secure, and performant delivery of data.
- Set strategy for DataOps, including designing platform-wide automation and observability patterns.
- Unblock teams on their hardest data reliability challenges.
