Job Description
A hands-on Data Engineer responsible for developing secure and high-performance data pipelines, focusing on ingesting energy production data, supporting data lake and enterprise data warehouse development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver aggregated metrics for business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Ingest production energy data and develop secure, high-performance data pipelines
- Create and support data lake development and manage data integration processes
- Support and maintain the enterprise data warehouse
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Analytics Reporting, Origination Platform engineers, and AI developers to coordinate data needs
Requirements
- A strong background in API data integrations, Spark processing, and data lake development.
- Experience in ingesting production energy data.
- Ability to create secure and performant data pipelines.
- Support for a foundational enterprise data warehouse.
- Strong technical skills with a focus on data quality and security.
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams such as Analytics Reporting, Origination Platform engineers, and AI developers to coordinate complex interdependencies.
- Demonstrated motivation and passion for developing data tools that make a difference.
- Ability to work in a collaborative work culture and adapt to changing responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or managers.
