Job Description
A hands-on Data Engineer responsible for developing secure and efficient data pipelines, primarily focusing on ingesting and processing energy production data, and supporting the company's enterprise data warehouse and analytics teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ingest production energy data and develop secure, high-performance data pipelines
- Create and support data lake development and manage data integration processes
- Support and maintain the enterprise data warehouse with a focus on data quality and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Analytics Reporting, Origination Platform engineers, and AI developers to coordinate data needs and interdependencies
Requirements
- A strong background in API data integrations, Spark processing, and data lake development.
- Experience in ingesting production energy data and supporting the aggregation of metrics for multiple teams.
- Ability to create secure and performant data pipelines.
- Experience supporting and maintaining a foundational enterprise data warehouse.
- Strong technical skills with a focus on data quality and best practices.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams such as Analytics Reporting, Origination Platform engineers, and AI developers to coordinate complex interdependencies.
- Experience working in a modern finance enterprise environment with a bold, visionary approach to data practices.
