Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer responsible for developing, testing, and scaling Node.js applications within the Consumer Solutions team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and efficient products for sustainable home solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive development tasks and implement solutions in Node.js
- Coordinate with other engineers to solve complex problems
- Work closely with product managers to ensure solutions align with business objectives
- Write well-tested, performant, and scalable code
- Take initiative and work independently within an agile team
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on developing scalable, performant, and well-tested code, preferably in a team environment.
- Experience driving development tasks and coordinating with other engineers to solve complex problems.
- Ability to work closely with product managers to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain backend applications.
- Experience working in an agile, small, and collaborative team environment that values proactive and independent engineers.
- Demonstrated initiative and drive to innovate within the development process.
- Ability to work independently without the need for constant direction.
- Experience in ensuring code is well-tested, scalable, and performant where applicable.
