Job Description
Responsible for ensuring quality and compliance of activities related to the construction, building and commissioning on customer site, from site mobilization, through civil, erection and commissioning work.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction, quality management, or Engineering discipline: Electrical Engineering (preferred), Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in site management and commissioning, substation construction, or project execution within utility, electrical substation, or related industrial environments
- Experience in development and implementation of Site Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plans related to HV turnkey projects
- Experience in Quality management, Quality assurance & control
- Equivalent experience may come from hands-on field leadership backgrounds such as site management, electrical construction, substation operations, or similar technical trades leadership with deep understanding of electrical design.
- Relevant field credentials such as Journeyman status, Master Electrician license, OSHA 30, or similar site-based certifications are highly valued
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate contractors in fast-paced field environments
- Experience supporting or overseeing electrical substation upgrades, expansions, or new-build projects
- Strong understanding of safety, lockout/tagout, and EHS expectations on customer sites
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Established project or site management skills; PMP certification is a plus
- The weekly pay for this position is 2,500 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a % performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
- *The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
