GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager, Verification and Validation to join our FACTS STATCOM team in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Lead the operation and continuous improvement of the RTDS laboratory, including test automation, tool enhancements, process development and long-term capability development
Manage and develop the local STATCOM engineering team, including work planning, prioritization, coaching, mentoring, and performance management
Own verification and validation scope on projects, including deliverables, schedules, technical interfaces, and compliance with customer requirements
Plan and oversee control system, protection, and system-level testing, including laboratory validation, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, and support for commissioning
Review test results, drive issue resolution, and ensure timely closure of validation findings
Support customer discussions, technical reviews, and tendering activities related to testing and validation
Ensure high-quality technical documentation, including validation plans, procedures, specifications, and test reports
Promote safe laboratory operations by identifying EHS risks and implementing improvements
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement
