Job Description
The Electrical Field Engineer is permanently based on-site and his role is to provide, with the support of his leader, active support to the site teams (Construction and Commissioning) in resolving encountered issues, as well as coordinating and monitoring corrective actions in collaboration with the engineering packag
Key Responsibilities
- Support coordination between the Europe-based engineering team and the Singapore site execution team on electrical engineering matters.
- Assist site teams in resolving issues arising from electrical engineering documents, equipment drawings, layouts, specifications, and revisions.
- Help track, document, and follow up technical queries, site clarifications, non-conformances, punch points, and engineering actions.
- Support communication of site feedback, redlines, marked-up drawings, and execution constraints to the relevant engineering stakeholders.
- Contribute to ensuring that engineering requests and responses are properly documented and routed to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Assist with monitoring corrective actions in collaboration with engineering package teams and project stakeholders.
- Support implementation of approved engineering solutions at site, in alignment with project procedures and authorized change processes.
- Work with Document Control and Quality teams to maintain proper document flow, revision control, and as-built documentation.
- Participate in technical coordination meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, partners, and client-related stakeholders when required.
- Support safe execution by ensuring that proposed technical solutions are aligned with applicable EHS and project requirements.
- Learn and apply GE Vernova documentation processes, interface management practices, and engineering escalation routes.
- Develop technical knowledge in HVDC platform electrical systems, equipment interfaces, installation methods, testing sequences, and commissioning readiness.
- This role provides a strong foundation for a fresh graduate seeking long-term growth in HVDC and offshore project execution. The Graduate Electrical Engineer will gain:
- Hands-on exposure to a major offshore HVDC platform project
- Practical understanding of GE Vernova engineering documentation and change processes
- Experience working across engineering, quality, document control, construction, testing, and commissioning functions

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Fresh graduates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to coordinate across multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
- Organized, disciplined, and meticulous in documenting and following up actions.
- Positive team player with willingness to learn in a fast-paced project environment.
