Job Description
The Senior Manager of Business Operations at Gatik oversees the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of critical business processes related to fleet deployment, scaling, and vendor management, ensuring operational efficiency and scalability in a fast-paced autonomous vehicle environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business operations lifecycle, including procurement, integration, deployment, scaling, and ongoing support for fleet operations.
- Coordinate cross-functional planning and execution to ensure seamless vehicle and equipment transitions through operational stages.
- Optimize fleet resource allocation by analyzing utilization, downtime, costs, and deployment timelines.
- Partner with Finance on forecasting, ROI modeling, and cost management related to fleet procurement and maintenance.
- Negotiate with vendors and manage external partners to meet operational, cost, and quality standards.
- Establish scalable procurement processes, vendor performance frameworks, and analytics to support fleet expansion.
- Oversee operational health programs and fleet readiness to maximize uptime and minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and safety teams to incorporate fleet performance insights into planning and strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, maintenance, and fleet reliability using data insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, fleet management, or program management in automotive, AV, logistics, or related industries
- Strong vendor negotiation and contract management experience
- Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to balance speed, cost, and quality in high-growth, fast-paced environments
Benefits & Perks
Salary range of $160,000 to $220,000
Onsite work schedule, 5 days a week at Mountain View, CA
