Job Description
A driver role involving operating box trucks while supervising autonomous driving systems, collaborating with engineering teams to test and refine self-driving technology, and ensuring safety and performance in a fast-growing autonomous trucking company.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 26-30 ft box trucks manually while supervising autonomous driving systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to test, evaluate, and improve self-driving technology
- Use onboard screens, diagnostic tools, and software to monitor system performance
- Conduct test runs, document unusual behaviors, and provide actionable feedback
- Maintain safety and compliance with DOT and company safety guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience driving 26-30 ft box trucks
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to operate 26-30 ft box trucks in manual mode while supervising onboard autonomous driving systems
- Experience with using onboard screens, diagnostic tools, and software to monitor system performance
- Ability to perform test runs, document unusual behavior, and provide clear, actionable feedback
- Strong judgment under pressure and safety-focused mindset, following DOT and company safety guidelines
