Job Description
As the need for nuclear energy grows, the future couldn’t be brighter.
Key Responsibilities
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team that includes mechanical, electrical and software engineers.
Create first-of-a-kind solutions to meet customer needs and respond to emergent issues.
Support design of systems that must operate in challenging environments while meeting rigid quality requirements.
Perform software development for various control systems.
Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle.
Support tooling qualification and acceptance testing.
Provide technical support for newly deployed robotic systems.
Periodically travel to customer sites to see your designs put into action.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
Expert knowledge of fundamental concept, practices and procedures in the area of specialization.
Understanding of network protocols and application deployment across environments.
Experience with C++ and/or C#.
Experience with Linux and Windows Development.
Experience with MFC and/or .NET.
Ability to diagnose and resolve fundamental technical issues.
Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team.
Benefits & Perks
Salary: $115,000 - $156,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
