Job Description

The Manager, Collections Recoveries is responsible for overseeing and optimizing collection and recovery efforts across third-party vendors, focusing on delinquent accounts and post-charge-off recoveries to improve portfolio outcomes, operational efficiency, and borrower experience.

Key Responsibilities

Drive collections and recovery performance across third-party vendors within a master servicer model.
Execute and optimize strategies for early- and late-stage delinquency (1-120 days past due) and post charge-off recoveries.
Hold vendors accountable to performance targets and continuously identify opportunities to improve collections effectiveness, cost efficiency, and borrower experience.

Requirements

Experience in driving collections and recovery performance across a network of third-party vendors within a master servicer model.
Ability to execute and optimize strategies across early- and late-stage delinquency (1-120 days past due) and post charge-off recoveries.
Proven track record of translating strategy into action and holding vendors accountable to defined performance targets.
Strong operational rigor and ability to continuously identify opportunities to improve collections effectiveness, cost efficiency, and borrower experience.
High level of accountability for measurable performance outcomes within the collections and recoveries function.
Ability to perform job duties primarily in an office setting, with flexibility for remote work as determined by management.
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
Use hands and fingers to operate technology and office machinery such as printers and scanners.
Utilize a computer monitor with visual acuity.
Communicate clearly, verbally and/or in writing, with others.
Flexibility to perform duties outside of the job description as needed to support organizational efficiency.
