Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations across multiple regions, including documentation, transportation, warehousing, and compliance, while collaborating with various teams to optimize supply chain performance and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Release logistics documents and purchase orders in SAP HANA S4
- Perform warehouse management activities and manage inbound/outbound logistics
- Coordinate freight forwarding, customs clearance, and inventory management
- Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs to identify improvement areas
- Ensure compliance with transportation, warehousing, and distribution regulations
- Prepare shipping schedules and ensure proper documentation for import/export
- Manage logistics invoice accounting and reconciliation in SAP HANA S4
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational logistics best practices
- Support regional warehousing strategies and logistics operations
- Provide logistics performance reports and strategic insights to senior management
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of subject matter experience in logistics management, preferably in the transportation or distribution industry, with experience in project logistics considered a plus.
- Experience in working with SAP HANA S4 tool with complete E2E logistics modules.
- Experience in the field of dangerous goods handling and shipping.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex logistics operations and driving process improvements.
- Ability to work independently to complete tasks and respond to requests, as well as collaborate with others to utilize resources and knowledge of others in identifying quality solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent communication in English.
- Ability to deal with volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.
- Ability to work in an international, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
- Support in releasing all logistics documents for all three regions and all modes of transportation.
- Release the logistics Purchase Order (PO) in SAP HANA S4 Environmental.
- Release the Stock Transfer Order (STO) and perform warehouse management activities in SAP HANA S4 Environmental.
- Perform logistics invoice accounting and reconciliation in SAP HANA S4 Environmental.
- Manage and coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics activities, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and inventory management.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards related to transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date shipping schedules for projects and ensure correct documentation is secured for import processing.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to communicate logistics performance and strategic initiatives.
- Support regional warehousing strategy.
- Manage and coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics activities, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and inventory management.
- Provide timely information to the Project Management team regarding supplier or procurement activities impacting the project, including opportunities or risks.
- Attend collaboration calls with various stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
- Knowledge of customs, FTA policies, export incentives, and re-exportation requirements (desirable).
- Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations and procedures (desirable).
- Familiarity with Navisphere tools (TMC) (advantage).
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Experience with lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Physical ability to support on-site logistics activities as required.
