Job Description
A hands-on Mechatronics Engineer role focused on testing, developing, and optimizing Stirling heat engine systems for renewable energy applications, working directly with thermal storage systems to convert heat into electricity.
Key Responsibilities
- Test reciprocating engines, specifically Stirling engines
- Lead the development and optimization of heat engine systems
- Perform design, analysis, assembly, and disassembly of Stirling engines
- Work with thermal storage systems to convert stored heat into dispatchable electricity
Requirements
- Deep expertise in testing reciprocating engines, specifically Stirling engines
- Experience in leading the development and optimization of heat engine systems
- Hands-on experience involving testing, design, analysis, assembly, and disassembly of Stirling engines
- Ability to work directly with thermal storage systems to convert stored heat into dispatchable electricity
- Relocation to Miami, FL is required, with willingness to accept relocation assistance
