Job Description
The Lead Machinist will oversee manufacturing operations and hardware prototyping for innovative solar energy systems, setting up and optimizing equipment while leading the transition from prototype to production in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and optimize manufacturing equipment for solar energy systems
- Lead manufacturing operations and hardware prototyping efforts
- Transition hardware from prototype to production-ready state
Requirements
- Must be an experienced machinist with a proven track record in manufacturing operations and hardware prototyping for solar energy systems or similar hardware.
- Must have experience setting up, operating, and optimizing a diverse range of manufacturing equipment.
- Must have experience leading the transition from prototype to production-ready hardware.
- Must be able to perform hands-on machining tasks in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
- Must be a local candidate based in Miami, FL, as there is no relocation assistance available.
