Job Description
Assist in coordinating and supporting the Esri User Conference by managing registrations, communicating with attendees and sponsors, processing event data, and helping organize various event activities to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for all participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Process registrations and payments for attendees and sponsors
- Receive and maintain submissions for the map gallery and presentations
- Communicate with presenters, attendees, sponsors, and staff via phone and email to answer event-related questions
- Organize and input data across spreadsheets to track event activities, materials, and schedules
- Update internal and external resources related to the event
Requirements
- One year of experience working in events, or the hospitality industry
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work on weekends and travel as needed
- Ability to type at least 45 words per minute
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality, or a related field
- Adherence to Esri's in-person event attendance requirements
- Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy for analysis and research of crucial data
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills due to heavy phone work and customer service with users and business partners

Benefits & Perks
Estimated base pay range of $21 USD per hour
