Job Description
This role involves supporting Esri's purchasing activities by managing vendor relationships, processing purchase orders, resolving supplier and invoice issues, and maintaining effective communication with internal teams to ensure efficient procurement of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Esri's purchasing activities, including vendor and supplier relationship management
- Procure indirect materials, supplies, services, and equipment
- Resolve supplier issues and invoice concerns
- Reconcile credit card accounts related to purchases
- Process purchase orders efficiently and accurately
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal customers
- Prioritize workload to maximize efficiency
- Perform various purchasing tasks as needed
Requirements
- Four years of work experience in a business environment, such as commercial, operations, or consumer products
- One year of work experience in Purchasing
- Professional self-starter capable of working with limited supervision
- Detail-oriented team player
- Superior customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good math and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Able to interface with employees at all levels of the organization
- Proficient skill level in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of products

- High school diploma or equivalent
