Job Description
A geospatial solutions specialist who collaborates with customers to design, implement, and optimize GIS workflows using Esri technology, supporting decision-making in defense and intelligence sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with customers to identify, design, and certify GIS workflows on the ArcGIS platform
- Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices for Esri technology solutions
- Identify the value of location in customer workflows to enhance decision-making and ROI
- Recommend strategies, architectures, and solutions, and assist with implementation and migration
- Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to diverse customer audiences
- Collaborate with customer IT teams to align technical objectives with business goals
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar position supporting responsibilities related to GIS solutions and enterprise GIS systems.
- Experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform including Desktop, Server, and Online.
- Proven experience leveraging Esri’s software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs.
- Ability to proactively craft and propose solutions that demonstrate how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges, specifically in the Defense and Intel domain.
- Proven experience with GIS workflow automation patterns.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders such as project managers and customers.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
- U.S. citizenship and the willingness and ability to maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a STEM-related field.
