Job Description
A geospatial solutions specialist who collaborates with customers to design, implement, and support enterprise GIS workflows using Esri technology, helping clients leverage location intelligence to meet their business and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with customers to identify, design, and certify GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
- Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers
- Recommend strategies, architectures, and solutions for GIS implementation and migration
- Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to diverse customer organizations
- Collaborate with customer IT teams to align technical objectives with business goals
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience supporting similar responsibilities in a position related to GIS or geospatial solutions.
- Experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform, including Desktop, Server, and Online.
- Proven experience leveraging Esri’s software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs.
- Proactively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Intelligence domain.
- Experience with GIS workflow automation patterns.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to both technical peers and non-technical peers, project managers, and customers.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
- U.S. citizenship and willingness and ability to maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a STEM-related field.
