Job Description
A geospatial solutions specialist who collaborates with customers to design, implement, and optimize GIS workflows and enterprise solutions using Esri technology, supporting defense and intelligence sectors with location-based decision-making and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
- Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers for innovative Esri technology solutions
- Identify the value of location within customer workflows and recommend strategies to maximize return on investment
- Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various organizational levels
- Collaborate with customer IT teams to align technical objectives and business goals with Esri’s technology
Requirements
- Five (5) years of professional experience in a similar position supporting responsibilities such as supporting GIS workflows, designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions that leverage the ArcGIS platform including Desktop, Server, and Online.
- Proven experience leveraging Esri’s software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs.
- Proactively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Intelligence domain.
- Proven experience with GIS workflow automation patterns.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to technical peers, non-technical peers, project managers, and customers.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
- U.S. citizenship with an active or current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility within the last 2 years.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a STEM-related field.
