A Systems Administrator responsible for identifying, analyzing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across various systems and environments, while supporting security standards, automation, and general system administration tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct vulnerability analysis and remediation across applications, operating systems, hardware, and environments
Partner with the Security Team for risk assessments and prioritization
Develop and implement automated solutions for deploying remediations
Collaborate with teams across the company to implement security remediations
Monitor deployment progress and analyze results to address failures and false positives
Help implement and uphold security standards such as NIST 800-171, CMMC, and FedRAMP
Support general system administration duties
Requirements
At least 2 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and remediating issues across Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Linux, and MacOS operating systems.
Working knowledge of one or more scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations to management, colleagues, and peers both in person and virtually via Teams or Zoom.
Proficiency in preparing technical documentation such as procedures, policies, and proposals.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience conducting vulnerability analysis and remediation across applications, operating systems, hardware, and environments.
Experience partnering with security teams for risk assessments and prioritization.
Experience developing and implementing automated solutions to deploy remediations.
Experience monitoring deployment progress, analyzing results, and addressing failures, false positives, and improving methods.
Experience supporting and upholding security standards such as NIST 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP.
Ability to participate in a rotational on-call schedule to support essential business clients and emergency situations.
