Job Description
The role involves developing advanced GIS software solutions that leverage computer vision, machine learning, and AI to extract and analyze real-world objects from various geospatial data sources, supporting infrastructure and asset management projects. It requires collaboration with research and engineering teams to create scalable, high-performance tools for geospatial data processing and visualization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate computer vision and AI/ML models for object extraction and change detection
- Build scalable software solutions for processing imagery, video, LiDAR, and 3D geospatial data
- Optimize and deploy machine learning models in production environments using Python, C, and C++
- Evaluate emerging AI/ML frameworks, including large language models
- Contribute to system architecture, performance optimization, and code quality
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product teams in an Agile environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in software development with a focus on AI, machine learning, and computer vision.
- Strong programming skills using Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
- Proficiency in computer vision tasks including detection, segmentation, feature extraction, and model training.
- Experience with C programming language and exposure to C.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a STEM-related field.
- Ability to develop and integrate computer vision and AI ML models such as YOLO, SAM, DINO, and more for object extraction and change detection.
- Experience building scalable software solutions for imagery, video, LiDAR, and 3D geospatial data.
- Ability to optimize and deploy ML models in Python, C, and C++ for production environments.
- Experience evaluating emerging AI and ML frameworks, including large language models.
- Ability to contribute to system architecture, performance optimization, and code quality.
- Strong problem-solving, research, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with geospatial GIS data and 3D point cloud processing.
- Experience with OpenCV and other computer vision frameworks.
- Knowledge of graphics frameworks such as OpenGL and DirectX.
- Familiarity with LLMs, generative AI, and advanced ML techniques.
