Job Description
A software developer responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing core components of 3D reconstruction and photogrammetry software, working on advanced algorithms and collaborating across teams to enhance 3D data processing solutions in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize core components for 3D reconstruction, image processing, scene understanding, and visualization solutions.
- Drive technical decision-making and contribute to product and architectural direction for photogrammetry workflows.
- Mentor team members by promoting best practices in clean code, maintainable architecture, testing, and performance engineering.
- Develop algorithms to process images, point clouds, textured meshes, and Gaussian splats at scale.
- Advance research and integrate innovations in computer vision, photogrammetry, machine learning, and computer graphics into the product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features aligned with user needs.
- Ensure high software quality through code reviews, automated testing, profiling, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of professional experience in image processing, computer vision, computer graphics, photogrammetry, or related fields.
- Expert-level proficiency in C programming language, including modern C standards and performance optimization techniques.
- Proven experience designing and delivering complex software components in production environments.
- Demonstrated ability to research, design, implement, test, debug, and work efficiently in large, shared codebases.
- Eagerness to continuously grow in team communication and self-leadership, with a desire to mentor others.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geomatics Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Existing work authorization for Germany.
