Job Description
A Sr. Project Manager within Business Management responsible for overseeing the operational delivery and cross-divisional coordination of ArcGIS product releases, ensuring project alignment, efficiency, and successful implementation across Esri's sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of complex cross-divisional projects ensuring alignment with timelines and business objectives
- Lead project planning discussions to define scope, objectives, success criteria, risks, and interdependencies
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and influence decision-making to drive alignment across teams
- Identify and resolve project issues, balancing priorities and constraints
- Ensure project output, quality, timelines, and deliverables support operational readiness and product releases
- Optimize project management workflows and processes for efficiency and cross-team coordination
- Support change management by communicating updates, setting expectations, and reinforcing adoption
- Provide post-release feedback and collaborate with stakeholders for continuous improvement
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience as a project manager supporting software product releases.
- Working proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Airtable.
- Technical understanding and ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience owning and delivering complex cross-functional initiatives from initiation through release.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Decisiveness in identifying priorities and resolving issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills including clear communication, diplomacy, and ability to facilitate and influence in a cross-functional environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
