Job Description
The Sr. Product Test Engineer will design and implement automated testing frameworks for ArcGIS Enterprise, collaborate with development teams to ensure software quality, and contribute to delivering reliable GIS software solutions globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product engineers and developers to test ArcGIS Enterprise functionality, focusing on portal and embedded web applications
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases to ensure software quality
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret test results to assess release readiness
- Document, communicate, and reproduce software issues, including customer-reported bugs
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve automation processes
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS platform technologies.
- Self-motivated team player with an interest in continuous learning and building software products.
- Relevant work experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of manual and automated testing practices for functional, regression, and performance scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with tools for development and execution of automated tests such as Selenium or related tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, mathematics, or a related field.
