Job Description
A Sr. Product Test Engineer responsible for designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of ArcGIS Enterprise software, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues, and supporting continuous improvement in automation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product engineers and developers to test ArcGIS Enterprise functionality, focusing on portal and embedded web applications
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases to ensure software quality
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret test results to assess release readiness
- Document, communicate, and reproduce software issues, including customer-reported bugs
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve identified issues and improve automation processes
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS platform technologies.
- Self-motivated team player with an interest in continuous learning and building software products.
- Relevant work experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of manual and automated testing practices for functional, regression, and performance scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with tools for development and execution of automated tests such as Selenium or related tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, mathematics, or a related field.
