Job Description
A Senior Industry Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns to promote Esri's GIS solutions within the state and local government sector, building community engagement, managing content creation, and collaborating with partners to increase market presence and influence industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Create campaign assets including messaging, print collateral, and digital content
- Contribute to and support third-party and Esri-hosted events with messaging, content, and logistics
- Manage campaign projects to ensure timely delivery within budget
- Track and analyze campaign performance and engagement metrics
- Utilize marketing technologies to manage activities, segment audiences, and track analytics
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand needs and showcase success stories
- Collaborate with partners, industry influencers, and professional associations to enhance market positioning
- Foster a community of GIS users through activities like user groups, meetups, and online forums
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience within business-to-business and or business-to-consumer fields, preferably marketing to business professionals in related industries
- Established knowledge of marketing principles, campaign management, and process improvement
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills for internal and external audiences
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Knowledgeable in strong understanding of CRM, social media platforms, business intelligence, and project management processes
- Strong decision making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills
- Must be able to travel up to 20% during peak marketing periods
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
