Job Description
A software developer role focused on creating high-performance 3D reconstruction and scene understanding software using C, aimed at advancing geospatial and reality capture technologies for applications like urban mapping, environmental monitoring, and smart city development.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team to develop software for 3D reconstruction from images and Lidar, scene understanding, and visualization.
- Develop performant, maintainable software to support social and environmental monitoring initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs, ensuring their performance and security.
- Shape and improve a resilient, parallel, and distributed C programming environment.
- Test, debug, profile, and optimize source code to ensure software quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of industry experience with C skills, including designing, authoring, testing, debugging, and profiling source code.
- Fluent English speaker.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, geomatics engineering, or a related field.
- Existing work authorization for Germany.
- Desire to design, develop, and maintain performant and maintainable software in a modern C environment, with an emphasis on resilience, parallel, and distributed processing.
- Ability to collaborate in a team to create industry-leading software for 3D reconstruction from images and Lidar, scene understanding, and visualization solutions.
- Motivation to shape a team and product to ensure customer success.
- Interest in the geospatial industry.
- Willingness to continuously grow in team communication and self-leadership.
