Job Description
A Software Development Engineer II role focused on researching, prototyping, and integrating AI technologies such as Large Language Models and computer vision into geospatial software products to enhance workflows, automation, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, prototype, and develop AI-driven features for geospatial software products
- Integrate AI technologies such as LLMs and computer vision into existing applications
- Automate workflows related to indoor mapping, roadway and utility GIS, and system observability
- Evaluate, benchmark, and test AI models for performance and effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered features
- Document experiments, prototypes, and technical approaches
- Present findings and incorporate feedback to improve AI solutions
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience evaluating, prototyping, and integrating AI technologies and approaches into software solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Strong understanding and the ability to develop software algorithms.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience building or integrating APIs and services.
- Database knowledge, including SQL and data modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
