Job Description
This role involves developing geospatial visualization applications using JavaScript, supporting the full software development lifecycle, and collaborating within an Agile team to create innovative GIS solutions for mission-critical applications in the defense and intelligence sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop front-end applications using Javascript
- Support and build software following industry-standard design patterns and deployment models
- Solve complex problems related to application design, development, and user experience
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and product managers throughout the development process
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Javascript experience supporting front-end application development.
- Professional experience in a similar position supporting responsibilities such as developing front-end applications, following industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models.
- Strong foundation in object-oriented software principles.
- Ability to analyze software algorithms and identify improvements.
- Experience supporting or working within the Defense and Intelligence domain.
- U.S. citizenship and willingness and ability to maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a STEM-related field.
