Job Description

A leadership role focused on managing and mentoring a sales team to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geospatial technology within the infrastructure industry, building strategic relationships with high-level stakeholders, and driving complex sales solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales activities of the team throughout all stages of the account management process.
  • Mentor and coach team members to improve performance and achieve sales objectives.
  • Develop and implement location strategies for large, complex organizations to expand customer adoption of Esri technology.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of ArcGIS and its value within the infrastructure industry.
  • Research industry trends and continuously update professional knowledge to stay competitive.
  • Plan and execute negotiations with customers to close sales opportunities.
  • Drive the sales cycle to meet or exceed sector-specific goals through creative solutions and visual storytelling.

Requirements

  • 8 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
  • 3 years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team
  • Able to build compelling account growth strategies
  • Advanced knowledge of the infrastructure industry and new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers
  • Deep understanding of GIS and Esri technology
  • Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge of the fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 50%
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, surveying, engineering, business administration, or a related field
