Job Description

A leadership role focused on managing and mentoring a sales team to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geospatial technology within the infrastructure industry, developing strategic relationships with high-level clients, and driving revenue growth through complex solutions and industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales activities of the team throughout all stages of the account management process.
  • Mentor and coach team members to improve performance and achieve sales objectives.
  • Develop and implement location strategies for large, complex organizations to expand customer adoption of Esri technology.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of ArcGIS and its application within the infrastructure industry to articulate value propositions.
  • Research industry trends and continuously develop professional expertise in geospatial technology and infrastructure solutions.
  • Execute the sales cycle effectively to close new opportunities and meet sector goals.
  • Create solutions and deliver presentations that support customer goals using visual storytelling and negotiation skills.

Requirements

  • 8 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
  • 3 years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team
  • Able to build compelling account growth strategies
  • Advanced knowledge of the infrastructure industry and new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers
  • Deep understanding of GIS and Esri technology
  • Expert knowledge of ArcGIS and its value propositions within the infrastructure industry
  • Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge of the fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 50%
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, surveying, engineering, business administration, or a related field
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available)
