Job Description

This role involves leading a sales team to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geospatial technology, building relationships with high-level clients, and developing strategies to drive growth and customer success in various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales activities of the team throughout all stages of the account management process.
  • Mentor and coach team members to improve performance and support sales objectives.
  • Develop and implement location strategies for large, complex organizations.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
  • Understand customer needs and industry trends to articulate the value of Esri technology.
  • Execute the sales cycle to close new opportunities and achieve sector goals.
  • Conduct research and professional development to maintain expert knowledge of GIS and Esri solutions.
  • Plan and prepare negotiations with customers to secure sales and partnerships.

Requirements

  • Eight (8) years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Three (3) years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team.
  • Ability to build compelling account growth strategies.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Hi-Tech, Media Entertainment, Consumer Goods Services, or Insurance and Financial Services industry and new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers.
  • Deep understanding of GIS and Esri technology.
  • Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization.
  • Knowledge of the fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 50% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, surveying, engineering, business administration, or a related field.

Base salary range of $114,400 to $197,600 USD
