Job Description
A leadership role focused on managing and mentoring a sales team to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geospatial technology, building strategic relationships with enterprise clients, and driving revenue growth through complex solutions and industry expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales activities of the team through all stages of the account management process.
- Mentor and coach team members to improve performance and achieve sales objectives.
- Develop and implement location strategies for large, complex organizations.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
- Understand customer needs and industry trends to articulate the value of Esri technology.
- Execute the sales cycle to close new opportunities and meet sector goals.
- Conduct research and professional development to maintain expert knowledge of GIS and Esri solutions.
- Plan and prepare negotiations with customers to secure sales and partnerships.
Requirements
- 8 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
- 3 years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team
- Able to build compelling account growth strategies
- Advanced knowledge of the Hi-Tech, Media Entertainment, Consumer Goods Services, or Insurance and Financial Services industry and new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers
- Deep understanding of GIS and Esri technology
- Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization
- Knowledge of the fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 50%
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, surveying, engineering, business administration, or a related field
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available)
- Successfully execute the sales cycle to close new opportunities to meet sector goals
- Use your innovative whiteboarding and presentation skills to support visual storytelling

Base salary range of $114,400 to $197,600 USD
