Job Description
This role involves leading a sales team to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geospatial technology, building relationships with high-level clients, and developing strategies to drive growth and customer success in various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales activities of the team throughout all stages of the account management process.
- Mentor and coach team members to improve performance and support sales objectives.
- Develop and implement location strategies for large, complex organizations.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
- Understand customer needs and industry trends to articulate the value of Esri technology.
- Execute the sales cycle to close new opportunities and achieve sector goals.
- Conduct research and professional development to maintain expert knowledge of GIS and Esri solutions.
- Plan and prepare negotiations with customers to secure sales and partnerships.
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Three (3) years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team.
- Ability to build compelling account growth strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of the Hi-Tech, Media Entertainment, Consumer Goods Services, or Insurance and Financial Services industry and new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers.
- Deep understanding of GIS and Esri technology.
- Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization.
- Knowledge of the fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 50% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, surveying, engineering, business administration, or a related field.

Base salary range of $114,400 to $197,600 USD
