Job Description
An internship position at Esri R D Center-Zurich focused on research and development of prototype software and methods related to GIS, 3D graphics, urban planning, and spatial analytics, offering hands-on experience in cutting-edge technology projects within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Select or define a focused internship project in areas such as 3D graphics, urban analytics, or web GIS
- Research the state of the art and real-world use cases related to the project topic
- Propose a design and work plan, and discuss it with supervisors and colleagues
- Implement the work plan and share progress with the team
- Document the completed work, create showcase videos, and present results to the team
Requirements
- Strong background in computer graphics, machine learning, architecture, UI UX design, or GIS
- Self-initiative, responsible, self-controlled, and self-motivating
- Good verbal and written skills in English and/or German
- MSc in computer science, architecture, GIS, or UI UX design completion or final year of study
- Existing work authorization for Switzerland
