Job Description
A software quality assurance role focused on testing and automating the testing of Esri's ArcGIS software products, involving designing test cases, troubleshooting issues, and developing automated tests to ensure product quality and release readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and author test cases in collaboration with software and product engineers
- Assess product quality and release readiness
- Identify, troubleshoot, and reproduce software issues
- Test software components through user interface and provide feedback
- Document and work with developers to resolve bugs
- Develop and execute test strategies and test cases for functional requirements
- Monitor and analyze test results to ensure software quality
- Build and maintain automated test scripts using testing tools
- Share test results and status with the wider team
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software testing experience.
- Experience using an application development language, such as C , Java or Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A self-motivated team player with an interest in continuous learning and building software products.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, mathematics, or a related field.
