Job Description
The role involves testing and improving Esri's ArcGIS software by designing automated test cases, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure product quality and release readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and author test cases for software components
- Assess product quality and release readiness
- Identify, troubleshoot, and reproduce software issues
- Test software functionality through user interface and provide feedback
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or SilkTest
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve bugs and improve software quality
- Monitor and analyze test results to ensure software quality
- Document test results and share status with the team
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software testing experience.
- Experience using an application development language, such as C , Java or Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A self-motivated team player with an interest in continuous learning and building software products.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, mathematics, or a related field.
