Job Description
A product marketing manager at Esri is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote and increase adoption of Esri's SaaS mapping products, working cross-functionally to communicate product updates, create engaging content, and analyze market trends to drive product success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop go-to-market strategies for Esri products
- Lead communication strategies for product changes, including at events and tradeshows
- Understand user and buyer needs to create personas, positioning, and messaging
- Coordinate and execute product launches, releases, and internal communications
- Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate product information and drive awareness
- Create engaging content such as web pages, videos, case studies, and press releases
- Provide insights into competitive capabilities
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure product market performance
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in product, industry, or corporate marketing communications, business development, consulting, or a similar field.
- Proven verbal and written communications skills with the ability to understand and effectively convey technical information in a non-technical manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with current marketing software, systems, and tools.
- Understanding of common marketing concepts and best practices, with experience in applying that knowledge strategically and tactically.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills with experience in successfully leading programs or highly visible projects.
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, and task-oriented.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities with guidance from leadership.
- Ability to travel 10-20% for strategic meetings, events, and/or tradeshows.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
