Job Description
This role involves managing and developing customer relationships within government organizations by leveraging geospatial technology, identifying growth opportunities, and providing solutions to meet organizational needs through sales and account management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
- Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
- Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
- Demonstrate the value of Esri technology related to government organizations
- Execute account management and sales processes for opportunities
- Collaborate with team members to define and implement account strategies
- Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote solutions
Requirements
- At least 2 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
- Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers
- Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation
- Demonstrated knowledge of how government organizations work with new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers
- Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field
