Job Description
A full-stack software engineer role focused on developing and testing GIS-based software for managing critical infrastructure data, supporting organizations in transportation, energy, and utilities sectors, with responsibilities including design, documentation, testing, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Managers to establish software backlog needs, priorities, and release themes.
- Design, test, document, and release GIS software for infrastructure data management and analytics.
- Create and execute test plans, manage testing datasets, and perform various testing types including acceptance and regression testing.
- Author and review user guides and technical documentation for accuracy and usability.
- Develop and define user stories and mockups to guide software development of new features.
- Demonstrate software capabilities to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into product backlogs.
- Coordinate with software engineers on acceptance criteria and collaborate as a technical point of contact.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of work experience in a related field such as software development, GIS, IT, architecture, or AEC.
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro and knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of GIS data management practices.
- Understanding of linear referencing concepts.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, information systems, IT, geography, computer science, or a STEM-related field.

Base salary range of $76,960 to $128,544 USD
