Job Description
The role involves developing, testing, and supporting Esri's web mapping SDKs and applications, collaborating with stakeholders to improve product features, and ensuring a modern, high-quality user experience through web technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, document, release, and support the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and related components.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and guide product improvements.
- Create comprehensive documentation including API references, code samples, and tutorials.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs identified through testing and customer reports.
- Stay current with web and browser trends to ensure a modern user experience.
- Work closely with developers to align requirements, design solutions, and manage issues.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with web development
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks, TypeScript, and build tools
- Experience with frontend testing tools like Vitest, Storybook, and Playwright
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate design concepts
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or related fields
