Job Description
The role involves developing and supporting cutting-edge 3D reconstruction software using geospatial data, collaborating with a team to enhance product quality, analyzing data, and creating educational content to empower users in the geospatial industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Create industry-leading software for 3D reconstruction from images and lidar, scene understanding, and visualization solutions
- Contribute to product development roadmaps and analyze, test, and support products to improve quality
- Manage bugs identified through testing and customer reports
- Push the limits of software development with creative workflows and data analysis for future product enhancements
- Create product examples, documentation, tutorials, and showcase new features
- Translate customer requirements into potential product improvements and new software designs
- Prepare and deliver demonstrations, talks, and workshops for international conferences
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional industry experience with relevant technology such as geospatial applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Passion for quality and detail
- Ability to identify and find bugs in software
- Drive to analyze complex projects involving real-world data and strive for sustainable solutions
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, preferably geomatics engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Existing work authorization for Germany
