Job Description
The role involves developing and supporting cutting-edge 3D reconstruction software using geospatial data, collaborating with a team to enhance product quality, analyzing complex data, and creating educational content to empower a growing community of users in the geospatial industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Create industry-leading software for 3D reconstruction from images and lidar, scene understanding, and visualization solutions
- Contribute to product development roadmaps and analyze, test, release, and support products to improve quality
- Manage bugs identified through testing and customer reports
- Push the limits of software with creative workflows and analyze data to inform future development
- Develop product examples, documentation, tutorials, and showcase new features through presentations and articles
- Translate customer requirements into potential product improvements and new software designs
- Prepare and deliver demonstrations, talks, and workshops for international conferences
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional industry experience with relevant technology such as geospatial applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for quality and detail in software development and testing.
- Ability to find bugs and identify issues within software to improve quality.
- Drive to get to the bottom of complex projects involving real-world data, always striving for sustainable solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, preferably geomatics engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Existing work authorization for Germany.
