Job Description
The role involves developing and supporting cutting-edge 3D reconstruction software using geospatial data, collaborating with a team to enhance product quality, analyzing real-world data, and creating technical documentation and demonstrations to showcase new features in the field of photogrammetry and spatial analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Create industry-leading software for 3D reconstruction from images and lidar, scene understanding, and visualization solutions
- Contribute to product development roadmaps and analyze, test, and support products to improve quality
- Manage bugs identified through testing and customer reports
- Push the limits of software development with creative workflows and data analysis for future product enhancements
- Develop and deliver product examples, documentation, tutorials, and presentations to showcase features
- Translate customer requirements into potential product improvements and new software designs
- Prepare and present demonstrations, talks, and workshops for international conferences
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional industry experience with relevant technology such as geospatial applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for quality and detail in software development and data analysis.
- Ability to identify and report bugs, including the skill to break software by finding bugs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to improve development, integration, and deployment workflows.
- Experience in analyzing, testing, releasing, and supporting software products to enhance overall product quality.
- Ability to manage bugs found through in-house testing as well as those reported by customers.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, preferably geomatics engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Existing work authorization for Germany.
