Job Description
The role involves developing and maintaining advanced 3D geospatial mapping software, focusing on performance, scalability, and complex 3D data models, utilizing industry-standard formats and full-stack development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build C software components following industry-standard design patterns and deployment models
- Collaborate with product engineers to implement requirements and develop application architectures and APIs
- Design and develop stable software with automated test validation
- Develop, run, and maintain tests for enterprise and online services
- Work within agile processes for rapid, iterative development
Requirements
- 8 years of experience developing robust code and exceptional problem-solving skills using C and C++ (including STL)
- Experience with industry standard 3D formats such as DWG, IFC, FBX, OBJ, glTF, USD, Collada, CityGML
- Experience with database systems such as Postgres, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and test-driven development processes
- Experience developing software that runs in a cloud environment and full-stack development experience
- Experience with application scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript, and web protocols and formats such as REST and JSON
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or a related field
- Existing work authorization for Switzerland
