Job Description
The Industry Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns to promote Esri's GIS solutions within the state and local government markets, focusing on market research, content creation, event management, analytics, and community building to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns across multiple channels targeting the state and local government market.
- Create campaign assets including messaging, print collateral, digital content, and multimedia materials.
- Contribute to and support events, webinars, and community-building activities to engage target audiences.
- Manage campaign projects to ensure timely delivery within budget, coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, generating reports and insights to optimize marketing efforts.
- Utilize marketing technology tools to manage activities, segment audiences, run campaigns, and publish content.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, industry influencers, and professional associations.
- Foster a vibrant user community through activities such as user groups, online forums, and regional meetups.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of marketing or related business experience.
- Proficiency in time management, resource management, and project management skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts with a positive attitude.
- Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to travel up to 20% during peak marketing periods.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, geography, GIS, or a related field.
