Job Description
A Solution Engineer Team Lead at Esri is responsible for managing and mentoring a technical team that promotes and implements geospatial solutions using ArcGIS technology, supporting sales efforts, and providing expert guidance to customers in the AEC and environmental sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the technical activities of the solution engineering team, including mentoring and coaching team members.
- Present, demonstrate, and support the sale of Esri software and solutions to customers.
- Lead technical meetings with enterprise-level decision makers to drive revenue.
- Develop and propose complex geospatial solutions that align Esri technology with customer business needs.
- Design and deliver technical presentations for diverse audiences, including at conferences and trade shows.
- Act as a technical expert in ArcGIS and AEC industries, providing configuration guidance and best practices.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to align team strategies and support sales objectives.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications
- 3 years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team
- Advanced understanding of current GIS technology, including the full ArcGIS system, to demonstrate Esri s patterns of use in AEC and/or environmental consulting industries
- Broad knowledge of ArcGIS from an IT context such as hardware, software, storage, security, networking, servers, databases, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing
- Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design
- Demonstrated experience of actively participating in a sales process
- Remarkable presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 50%
- Bachelor s degree in geography, GIS, business administration, or a related field
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available)

Base salary range of $114,400 to $195,520 USD
