Job Description
A Solution Engineer at Esri is responsible for demonstrating and supporting geospatial technologies, building customer relationships, and providing technical expertise to showcase how Esri's solutions can address business challenges through spatial analysis and mapping.
Key Responsibilities
- Present, demonstrate, and support selling Esri software and solutions in the Geo Experience Center
- Build relationships with customers and support sales strategies
- Become a subject matter and technical expert on Esri’s platform and products
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences about Esri technologies
- Proactively craft and propose geospatial solutions to address customer business challenges
- Employ spatial theory and problem-solving techniques to develop multiple solutions and identify improvements
- Design and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of solutions to customers
Requirements
- 3 years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications
- 1 year of experience in various industries
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts in addition to enterprise solutions
- Remarkable presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills
- Experience in mobile development and familiarity with Game Engine development
- Strong programming or scripting experience with either one or multiple of these languages: .NET, C, Kotlin, Swift, Python, JavaScript, Java
- Understanding of ArcGIS from an IT context such as hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, cloud computing
- Ability to work in a high-stress, action-packed, intense teamwork environments
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 25-50%
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field
