Job Description
A leadership role focused on managing and mentoring a sales team to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geospatial technology within the infrastructure industry, building strategic relationships with high-level clients, and driving complex sales solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales activities of the team through all stages of the account management process.
- Mentor and coach team members to achieve sales objectives and improve performance.
- Develop and implement location strategies for large, complex organizations.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of ArcGIS and its value within the infrastructure industry.
- Research industry trends and pursue professional development to maintain competitive knowledge.
- Plan and execute negotiations with customers to close sales opportunities.
- Develop solutions and strategies to help customers meet their goals using Esri technology.
Requirements
- 8 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
- 3 years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team
- Able to build compelling account growth strategies
- Advanced knowledge of the infrastructure industry and new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers
- Deep understanding of GIS and Esri technology
- Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization
- Knowledge of the fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 50%
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, surveying, engineering, business administration, or a related field
