Job Description
This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and industry knowledge to build relationships, develop strategies, and manage accounts within the oil and gas sector, aiming to optimize the adoption of Esri solutions and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations in the oil and gas industry
- Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
- Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders to tailor GIS solutions
- Demonstrate the value of Esri technology through solution selling and visual storytelling
- Execute account management and sales processes to achieve business objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies
- Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote Esri solutions
Requirements
- Three years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
- Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers
- Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation
- Demonstrated knowledge of the oil and gas industry and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers
- Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, a related field
