Job Description

This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and account management skills to build relationships with state and local government clients, identify growth opportunities, and promote Esri's GIS solutions through consulting, sales, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations.
  • Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders.
  • Use solution selling to address customer challenges and demonstrate the value of Esri technology.
  • Execute account management and sales processes for opportunities.
  • Collaborate with teams to define and implement account strategies.
  • Conduct research and professional development to anticipate customer needs and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
  • Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state and local government and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
  • Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, public administration or a related field.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).

Base salary range of $93,600 to $176,800 USD
