Job Description

This role involves building relationships and providing solutions to state and local government clients by leveraging geospatial technology, with a focus on sales, account management, and industry expertise to drive adoption and growth of Esri's GIS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
  • Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
  • Use solution selling to address customer challenges and demonstrate the value of Esri technology
  • Execute account management and sales processes to achieve results
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies
  • Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote Esri solutions

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
  • Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state and local government and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
  • Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).

Base salary range of $93,600 to $176,800 USD
