Job Description
This role involves managing and growing customer relationships in the infrastructure sector by leveraging GIS technology, identifying new business opportunities, and providing tailored solutions to clients in industries such as electric, gas, telecom, and rail. The position requires a combination of sales, technical knowledge, and industry understanding to drive adoption and expansion of Esri's geospatial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
- Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
- Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
- Use solution selling to address customer challenges and demonstrate the value of Esri technology
- Execute account management and sales processes to close opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies
- Conduct research and professional development to stay informed on industry trends and customer needs
Requirements
- Three (3) years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
- Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GIS and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
- Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, surveying, engineering, business administration, or a related field.

Base salary range of $93,600 to $176,800 USD
