Job Description

This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and industry knowledge to build relationships, develop strategies, and provide solutions for commercial forestry clients, with a focus on sales, account management, and industry expertise within the GIS and forestry sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations.
  • Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders to tailor GIS solutions.
  • Articulate the value of Esri technology related to the Commercial Forestry industry.
  • Execute account management and sales processes to meet sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies.
  • Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote solutions and build networks.

Requirements

  • Three years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
  • Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers
  • Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Commercial Forestry and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers
  • Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, forestry, forest management, natural resource management, or a related field
