Job Description
The Software Simulation Engineer will provide technical expertise and support for mission-critical test and simulation programs supporting the U.S. Navy at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Indian Head, MD, contributing to engineering projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and engineering support for mission-critical test and simulation programs supporting the U.S. Navy
- Develop, implement, and maintain software simulations for naval systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and improve simulation models and tools
Requirements
- Provide technical expertise and engineering support at the Naval Surface Warfare Center NSWC Indian Head Division for mission-critical test and simulation programs supporting the U.S. Navy.
- Must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Full-time onsite availability at the Naval Support Facility NSF Indian Head in Indian Head, MD.
- Experience in software simulation engineering or related field relevant to mission-critical test and simulation programs supporting the U.S. Navy.
- Ability to contribute to test and simulation programs supporting the U.S. Navy.
- Ability to work in a flexible work schedule environment (flexible work schedules may be considered).
